Unfortunately I have this weed growing in my garden. I have found the following sites helpful in providing information to combat this pest. I am also in the process of destroying this weed by frequently cutting it back. Japanese Knot Weed (Reynoutria japonica) goes by other names- Donkey or Gypsy rhubarb, Mexican bamboo, Japanese bamboo, Japanese Fleece Flower.
